About the Lead Researcher Role
At 10/10 Research, we don’t just conduct research—we shape strategic programs & projects that help our clients solve complex challenges and create meaningful impact. As a Lead Researcher, you’ll take on a leadership role in delivering powerful insights, guiding research strategies, and working across diverse methodologies for a variety of clients. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Dive deep into strategic insights: Lead user research efforts to uncover behaviors, motivations, and needs, using advanced methodologies to provide actionable, high-impact insights that guide strategic decisions for our clients.
Build valuable research projects & programs: Scope, conduct, and oversee comprehensive research that combines multiple methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches tailored to client goals.
Engage strategic frameworks: Leverage and contribute to strategic frameworks to deliver clear, actionable insights. Your work will go beyond the artifacts themselves, communicating powerful, evidence-based stories that inspire action and drive meaningful change.
Lead research for diverse clients: Work across industries and client types, adapting your research strategies to meet the unique challenges of each project. From usability testing for startups to strategic market analysis for established brands, variety will be certain.
Develop & nurture client relationships: Earn the trust of clients by delivering exceptional results, communicating clearly and effectively, and consistently demonstrating value. You’ll play a critical role in building long-term partnerships that keep clients coming back to us.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment: Plan and lead workshops, collaborative sessions, and stakeholder engagement meetings to ensure alignment, cohesion, and shared understanding across teams.
Tell the story: Synthesize complex research findings into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations that inspire action. You’ll be a trusted voice in helping clients connect the dots between research insights and business opportunities.
Guide the bigger picture: Shape and refine research infrastructure, frameworks, and processes to ensure our agency continues delivering exceptional work while scaling effectively.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: 6+ years of experience conducting research required, at least 4 in a non-academic environment.
Experience working within strategic methodological frameworks (Service design, agile, benchmarking/competitive analysis, cognitive mapping, customer journeys, SWOT, etc.) required.
Agency or consulting experience preferred.
Experience doing both qualitative and quantitative market & UX research preferred.
Experience with Accessibility/a11y and/or human factors research preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a social science (psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, linguistics, political science etc.), Computer Science, HCI, Human Factors, design, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
Skills: Exceptional qualitative research skills, and a robust methodological tool box. Proficient quantitative methodological skills (survey design, descriptive statistics, regression analysis), and willingness to advance quantitative skillset.
Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
Mindset: Strong ability to synthesize data into actionable insights that inform design and business decisions, and to communicate insights confidently.
People focused: A thoughtful approach to ethics and DEI in research design and implementation.
Agility: Comfortable working in an empowered, self-initiating environment, and adjusting to change with ease.
Tools: Expertise with Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
Confidence with online meeting platforms, video recording software required
Familiarity with design & collaboration tools such as Miro, Figma, or similar platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with research platforms such as UserTesting, Userlytics, Dovetail, Dscout, Qualtrics, etc. is a plus.
Confidence and mindful practices with AI tools is a plus.
What We Offer
Compensation: $105,000–$110,000 base salary annually.

About the Researcher Role
Our researchers don’t just run studies; they build meaningful programs of research that empower our clients to solve problems and serve their customers. As a Researcher, you’ll work as an integral part of embedded teams, collaborating with designers, managers, and other stakeholders to deliver insights that shape products and services. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Dive into user needs: Conduct user research to understand behaviors, assess usability, and uncover the insights that drive impactful design and product decisions.

About the UX Designer Role
Our designers don’t just create interfaces—they craft thoughtful, user-centered solutions that empower our clients to transform their services and products. As a UX Designer, you’ll work as an integral part of embedded teams, collaborating with researchers, product managers, and other stakeholders to turn insights into actionable, innovative design. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Design workflows & interfaces: Develop workflows and user interfaces at various fidelity levels to support ideation, research, and product development processes. Your designs will guide teams from vision to execution.
Transform insights into design solutions: Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate research findings into impactful, user-focused design solutions that align with business goals.
Build service blueprints: Partner with the research team to design and implement Service Blueprint frameworks, creating clarity and alignment across teams and systems.
Prototype & iterate: Create both low- and high-fidelity prototypes that evolve through iterative testing and feedback loops, ensuring continuous improvement.

Skills:

Familiarity with service design principles and usability testing.
